Train Crashes

Gigi and I have been looking for videos about train crashes and I found this one. I think its cool when the train doesn't stop and the single. I like the part where it falls off the track. I wonder why the conductor didn't stop when he saw the red light? Maybe he was trying to make it to the switching track? Gigi read the description that goes with the video to me and it says no one died in the crash - that's good.

Cool Japanese Train

I want to ride in this! I like the front of the train with its long nose and it goes 200 mph, as fast as the cars at the NASCAR track! Gigi thinks its cool too. We found this train on Wikipedia and there's lots more.

G Scale Railway Video

This is the coolest video of a model "garden" train. What I like about it is the parts where the train goes over the water with the "swamp juice" (that nifty green stuff that floats on top of the water). I also like the diesel and my Gigi likes the night time parts. We both love the bridges. I like engine 9530. It is bright yellow with a red stripe and numbers. Click and watch it and then tell me what you like.

Family Reunion at Poteau, Oklahoma

Last week my Mom, Dad and little brother Garrett went to Papa Booth's Family Reunion at the Long Lake Resort at Poteau, Oklahoma. We saw this caboose and when we looked closer we figured out it was a Bank! Then we learned that Poteau was the "home of the World's Highest Hill". The hill is only one foot short of being a mountain.

We went fishing and swimming with our little cousin, Lance. Lot's of us fished from the deck or the bank near the deck and we took some pictures. We had fun!

Thomas the Train

I got to stay the night with my Gigi and Papa at their cabin for two nights! Gigi and I played on the Internet today and I found this Thomas the Train video on YouTube. Thomas is my favorite.

Firecracker trains

This is a train simulator video and is way cool. What I like about it is the firecracker trains. That's the one that are blue. I think they are blue because they haul firecrackers. The video is kind of long at 8 minutes but has lots of train cars in lots of colors. It looks really real.

Longest Train on the Line

Check out this YouTube model train video by fossbeck. It is a fitting tribute to the love of trains he shared with a friend.

World's Scariest Model Train Wrecks Video

Since Uncle Brock's softball game was rained out, Gigi and I looked up model train videos on YouTube while Aunt Cara played with my little brother, Garrett. We found this video called the World's Scariest Model Train Wrecks. It's cool.

My very own Farmrail video

I am so excited about shooting my very first train video. My mom and I waited out on the patio at our house for the big Farmrail engine to come. I waved and they actually blew the train horn. Click and watch the video. Gigi says you can leave a comment if you click the word "comment" below. I hope you will.

The very first train picture Gigi sent me

My Gigi went to Pennsylvania last summer and she took the train from Union Station (that's in Washington, D.C.). She works with some people she really likes at CSAP and WITF in Harrisburg. Gigi really likes riding the train and was sure wishing I could have been with her.

She didn't get to ride Marc on this trip. She took this picture of him when he went by and sent it to me and my mom on mom's cell phone just so I could see MARC. Gigi says Marc is a commuter train that helps people who are traveling around the big cities by Washington, D.C. She says MARC takes people to work so they don't have to drive their cars. She found a lot of pictures of MARC. Gigi and I want to ride MARC together.

Union Pacific 1991

Here's a picture of the Union Pacific engine 1991 as it approached the Onapa Rd Crossing near Checotah, Oklahoma. The Union Pacific photo gallery has a lot of great pictures.

Gigi took this picture for me on March 30, 2007 at the Onapa Crossing. The last time we were there we waited but no train came along and we weren't sureof the schedule. Gigi and Papa are paying attention to the times when the trains run so we can watch them together when I go back to stay for a few days.

Union Pacific 7127 at Onapa, OK

This is a picture of Union Pacific 7127 at the Onapa Rd crossing, just off Hwy 69, south of Checotah, Oklahoma.

This is really close to Gigi and Papa's lake house on Lake Eufaula.

I love trains!

Yup, I love trains! And my Gigi loves me. Together we've created this blog so I can add pictures and videos about trains. I even added a link to my favorite train video website, Matt's Train Videos.

I just stayed for four whole days at Gigi and Papa's lake cabin. My little brother Garrett came too and so did Aunt Cara and Aunt Jessi and Uncle Brock. I went to bird beach (Hummingbird Beach) with Gigi and played on the slides. Then we all went to see Papa and Nanny's house boat. We fished off the dock. I met a new friend. His name is Devin. He likes to fish too.

Gigi and I took some pictures of a couple of train crossings today. One is on Texana Road (just off highway 69, a couple miles south of Gigi and Papa's cabin. The other is at Onapa. Onapa is just over the bridge from Gigi and Papa's cabin.
